Top grades for school rewards

Giant-Carlisle's A+ School Rewards program celebrated its most successful year yet in 2007, with over 41.2 million donated to 1,405 schools to spend on anything from playground equipment to computers. The A+ School Rewards program creates a special bond with local communities. It's not just teachers and parents who are keen to raise money for schools. The program reaches large numbers of people who want to support the education and development of children in their communities. Schools are free to spend the money as they wish: from equipping science labs or sports teams to helping with basics such as chairs and clocks.
